STORYTELLING WORKSHOP AND PERFORMANCE
Clare Murphy – a storyteller, performer, writer and social entrepreneur will be running a workshop on storytelling for everybody who wants to tap into the world of Celtic mythology, tales from world folklore, anecdotes, fables, and legends. Clare’s dynamic physical style of telling brings traditional stories alive.

Clare has performed at festivals and events all over the world including; Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival 2009, Kilkenny Arts Festival 2008, 2009, Baboró International Arts festival for children 2008, Vienna Lit 2008, The Cheltenham Literature Festival 2008, Ondas de Contos Storytelling Festival Lisbon June 2007, and has toured extensively in the UK with Storytelling Cafe. A recommended teller on The Crick Crack Club’s website – The Crick Crack Club is one of the few International promoters of storytellers, and being on the list of recommended tellers is a true honour and acknowledgement of Clare’s calibre.
Claire is also Co-Director of annual Storytelling in Schools Programme and Founder of Community Storytelling Initiative Galway
