'Wild Garden' - Exhibition & Book Launch

‘Wild Garden’ is a collection of fine art landscape photography created by Peter in Ireland’s County Wicklow. The work takes the viewer through a range of moods, sometimes uplifting, sometimes melancholic, simply reflecting the atmosphere of the landscape and the light that describes its beauty at a given moment. Moving through the seasons Peter sought out specific combinations of light and colour in an attempt to show the transition of change in the county. Sometimes sleeping out in -14 the creation of the image always took precedence.

All imagery has been captured on traditional analogue film cameras over the past 5 years utilizing various formats of 35mm and medium format transparency (or slide) film.

A short documentary film launched in stages in September on a dedicated ‘Wild Garden’ website showing Peter out on a camping trip in Wicklow. The video will give the viewer an insight in both artistic and technical terms, of what has been required to create the imagery within this project www.wildgarden.ie

About CFCP

The Centre for Creative Practices (CFCP) established in 2009 in Dublin is the only cultural venue in Ireland devoted to enhancing the visibility of resident international artists to wider audiences. Along with this the Centre promotes experimental and independent arts projects as well as multidisciplinary and multicultural collaborations.
