Jazz Jam Session Our monthly Jazz Jam Session is a feast for both the musicians and our audiences. If you like jazz either the standard type or free improvisation you will not be disappointed.
Introductory Talk Classical Buteyko Method Martha Roe will show a presentation by Senior Practitioner Christopher Drake explaining the principles behind the Buteyko method discovered by Professor K.P. Buteyko. There will be a chance to measure breathing followed by a Q & A session with Christopher Drake via Skype.

Artists Talk - Robert Ladislas Derr: Performance, Video, Photography, and installation - In My Shoes: Dublin, Ireland Robert Ladislas Derr uses various modes of making that centres on a barrage of questions about life and art. He has exhibited and performed worldwide including the Irish Film Institute, Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt, LIVE Performance Art Biennale, Vancouver, and the DiVA Festival, New York. Derr is an associate professor of art at The Ohio State University.

The Break-Away Project presents “It Came From Mars” by Joseph Zettelmaier - A Staged Reading October 30, 1938. The members of Farlowe’s Mystery Theatre Hour are in rehearsal for their weekly radio show when they hear an alarming announcement come over the radio - Martians have landed! Honesty and hilarity ensue when the dramatic dramatists are faced with true drama.
Interactive FIlm Series - Kinoautomat Kinoautomat (1967) was the world's first interactive movie, conceived by Radúz Činčera for the Czechoslovak Pavilion at Expo '67 in Montreal. At nine points during the film the action stops, and a moderator asks the audience to choose between two scenes; following an audience vote, the chosen scene is played.

La Perla Del Sur - Spanish Music Night La Perla del Suris a duo stemming from these opposing musical backgrounds, united by a passion for guitars. Juan Jose is an astounding flamenco guitarist, breathing the earth, wind and waves of Cadiz into his playing. Whereas Jose is heavily rhythmic with a taste for the 70s, constantly injecting the soul of the heady decade into his music.

The Gong bath and Tibetan Bowls-Workshop The gongbath is a one hour immersion in sacred and healing sound wherein the gongmaster activates the full sonic potential of the gong and bathes the listener with sustained waves of primordial sound.

German Movie Night - Der Schuh des Manitu Extra Large
As part of our regular German Language Meet Up at CFCP we are hosting the monthly screening of German films on Sunday evening. Abahachi, Chief of the Apache Indians, and his blood brother Ranger maintain peace and justice in the Wild West. One day, Abahachi needs to take up a credit from the Shoshone Indians to finance his tribe's new saloon. Unfortunately Santa Maria, who sold the saloon, betrays Abahachi, takes the money and leaves.

About CFCP
Centre for Creative Practices, CFCP, it is only arts centre in Ireland dedicated to connecting immigrant, experimental and emerging artists with the Dublin arts scene and audiences. Established in 2009 in Dublin as a multipurpose venue the Centre for Creative Practices bridges talents, cultures and markets and provides a new model of integrating immigrants and niche artists through intercultural collaborations. We are actively involved in building a network of integrative, multicultural and multidisciplinary arts venues in Europe. The model we are developing in Dublin can be implemented in other countries.
