Smaller than Life
A project on creating an art piece, exhibiting it and finally destroying
by Liubov Kadyrova |
| |
Liubov Kadyrova will create a large scale mixed-media work over the course of a week preceding the Creative Cafe and destroy it as a part of her performance and artist’s talk on the 21st September. Her contribution aims to explore the value of art in the recession and invites spectators to view the process of creation and destruction. This project has been previously presented in Berlin and provoked intense responses from the artist and the viewers, challenging ideas of the importance of art within our lives. |
